Magaluf is a resort located on the island of Majorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands off of the coast of Spain. Magaluf is about twenty-four kilometres away from the Palma de Majorca Airport, so it is easily accessible by car hire or taxi, and the short trip gives you a great chance to see the beautiful sights along the way.

Magaluf is within the municipality of Calvia, and is also within a group of towns, which include Torrenova and Palma Nova. The resort location has plenty to do, and is a popular holiday destination among those who enjoy an active and bustling nightlife.

From upscale hotels to spas and restaurants, there is plenty of things here to keep you busy and enjoying your holiday. While not the best resort in Majorca for small children and families, it does have its areas that are great for adults and children alike.

Magaluf Beaches

Magaluf is well known for some of the beaches that you will find there. The most popular beach in Magaluf is Magaluf Beach - the official name for the beach being Platja de Magaluf. Since it is the most popular beach in the area, it tends to get crowded and a bit noisy, but typically only during the summer months.

During the rest of the year, the beach is a little more quiet and comfortable. With beautiful clear water and warm sand, this beach measures in at over nine hundred metres in length, so there is plenty of room for many tourists to enjoy the area. This beach also has a promenade, which stretches along the entire length of the beach, providing access to shops, restaurants, and other places of entertainment.

Another beach in Magaluf, which is more secluded and a lot quieter, is Cala Falco Beach. Cala Falco Beach is fifty metres long, and is situated within a cove, which gives plenty of protection from wind and shade from the sun.  This beach is a little more difficult to find, so it isn`t as popular with tourists as Magaluf Beach.

Water Sports and Outdoor Activities

For those interested in outdoor activities and water sports, Magaluf offers plenty of great experiences! Scuba diving and snorkelling are the most sought after activities at the resort, and there are several different companies around the resort offer both activities, and even guided tours into the water. Some of these companies include Big Blue Diving and Bladerunner.

Boating is also popular in Magaluf, as the resort`s marina boasts a wide variety or boats, yachts, and jet skis - all available for rental or guided tours. It is a wonderful way to explore the coves and beaches in Magaluf and the surrounding areas, and you can choose to have a tour guide accompany you on your trip out, but those more experienced in using boats can choose to take the trip without a guide.

Magaluf Nightlife

The nightlife in Magaluf is one of the reasons that many tourists flock to the area! With plenty of bars, pubs, and late night restaurants open (many even twenty-four hours a day), there is always entertainment available.

There are a large assortment of bars and clubs that are popular and well frequented, and include favourites such as Bar Papis, which has a regular set of live music, Piano Bar, and BCM Planet Dance, which is a dance club that has received a lot of praise for it`s mix of music and great drinks. The Magaluf Strip is the place to go for most night life activity, and you are bound to find something to suit your fancy!

For those who are interested in a different type of nightly entertainment, Magaluf does have a dinner theatre! The Pirates Adventure Show of Mallorca is a great option for those who wish to dine and have the ability to watch some live entertainment! The show has been voted as Mallorca`s number one show, and has wowed millions of viewers.

Family Entertainment

While the most famous part of Magaluf is probably the nightlife aspect of the resort, there are still plenty of things for families who decide to holiday here! Many families find entertainment during the hot summer months at the Western Water Park. The water park has a pool, water slides, a special kids area, and even an indoor pool in case of inclement weather.

Another great family attraction is Katmandu Park, which has been voted as the best amusement park in Mallorca. The park, which focuses on a mythical theme, has plenty of rides, eateries, and attractions, including 4D theatres, souvenir shops, and even a water park for those hot summer days.

While Magaluf has been known to be a great place for young adults on holiday, it is also a wonderful location for families, with plenty of interesting attractions, sports, beaches, and places to see. With beautiful, sunny weather for perfect afternoons at the beach, to bars and clubs for a night on the town, there is something here for everyone.

Our clients say...

"I must say that everything even better that we had expected, the flight was 25 min early but the driver was already waiting for us at the doors. He was very helpful, specially when we had 4 older persons (75 - 87 years old) with us. The car was big and clean and the transfer went very smooth to El Morche. The same goes also from El Morche to the airport, the driver was 10 minutes early ( very good ! ) and everything worked perfectly. We are very pleased to use your services again next yer in september ! Have an nice day ! MVH / TERVEISIN"

"Will definitely use your service again and have already recommended it to friends. Driver was very helpful and the vehicle was very comfortable. In the end there were only two of us rather than the three originally expected which was lucky because it would have been difficult to get 3 people plus luggage including golf bags into the vehicle. Regards Geoff"
